Dads and Prenatal Classes
Ok, so prenatal classes aren't always at the top of the "fun" list for fathers. Images of breathing techniques, lectures and awkward birth videos come to mind. I promise that this is a class for both of you, with fathers respected as full participants, not just companions or observers.
Dads' experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum is unique, and deserves attention as an integral part of your prenatal class. Along with information and support, many men find our classes help build a sense of confidence and connection with their partner and baby. We get plenty of smiles from satisfied new fathers who admit that they hadn't really wanted to come, but are So so glad that they did!
"I have to say I was reluctant to go, as many men must be, but I am really glad I did. I learned a lot of what I needed to know to be prepared for birth." - P.J.
"The class exceeded my expectations - practical ideas and knowledge along with a new level of confidence. I especially appreciate the time just with dads. Thank you!" - M.S.
